Healing can be hard (but it’s worth it!)

Healing is an important process that releases pain or grief, and helps us progress to a happier way of being.

But — that doesn’t mean healing is easy!

🪴Healing is an inside job, so it’s inherently lonely.

🪴 You are ‘feeling it to heal it’, which in itself can be painful. You are remembering the hard stuff, in order to acknowledge and learn from it.

🪴 Detoxing and releasing trauma, sadness, pain is happening… which can be gruelling! You're also stabilising oxytocin, dopamine and cortisol levels. A full on process!

🪴 Healing can mean leaving behind habits, limiting beliefs, situations, patterns of behaviour… that kept us small.

🪴 Being at peace — or shining brighter and being ‘seen and heard’ — can feel scary or unfamiliar. Moving from chaos to calm can also unsettle you, simply because you're not used to it! Remember, your prize is being healed and loved for all you truly are.
